I'm new to the forum and fairly new to atheism. I come from a christian background but today I do not hesitate to vigorously oppose many religious ideas. I am on a life journey that seeks truth, beauty and wisdom.

I hope you find on Religious Forums that the choices are more than 'Bible-belt Christianity' or 'Atheism'. I think the answer is neither of the above between those two choices.

I have much in common with you @OnePointSix18 ...I left Christianity, then identified with atheism for a while, now back to Christianity. Well, the first two parts remind me of you. :D
