Would a Palestinian help an Israeli in need?

I'll just post this video:

Personally, I would help whoever is in need if I see they really need help even if it's an enemy and I can take the risk hopefully safely. I believe that Islam teaches me that, but I'm not gonna debate that. The thread is about the video and the subject question.

Have fun watching.

Given its a Warzone, I can more than understand when people hesitate and ask "is he a citizen or a soldier?" but its a pretty unanimous response which is good to hear. :)

That being said, there are also videos (which I'll refrain from posting so as to preserve the positive nature of this thread) available of Palestinians (or Israeli Arabs) who chose not to help Jews being attacked. Palestinians are not a monolithic entity with one opinion. Just like everyone else in the world.

Another very interesting article worth reading:

These are amazing human stories to read, I just hope the extremists (both sides Arab and Jews) and politics learn from them.

And there is no arguing what you say, of course.

People should start looking at the good things and spread their word instead of hunting for the bad things in others as if making them look bad is an honorable achievement (something that keeps happening here on RF by some members, God bless them). People should also not just care about pointing out the bad or intending to do so when a cause to spread the good part is taking place, just as you chose not to and I'm grateful ;)

I think ordinary people are mostly good anywhere. I'm not talking about just this conflict but sadly, it's the fanatics and the bad guys that get to ruin it for everyone, both their own people and the other sides.

Agreed. I guess this video is a good slap in the face for those generalizing bad stuff on people, specially those pathetic enough to seek generalizing specific people for being bad.

depends upon the specific Palestinian and the specific circumstance. Your question is malformed

The difference between As-salamu alaykum and Shalom aleikhem is much smaller than the similarity. If the parties could start by wishing each other peace, then a foundation would be laid for starting to build a way out of the current mess.

The video asked a few Palestinians the question if they would help an Israeli in need. Even though my English is not the best, I think the title fits the video perfectly.
