Non Christian at a UNited Methodist Church?

So the church says I can go and visit without being pressured to join and become a Christian. The reason for it is that my UU church and zen group takes 45 bucks to go and come in a taxi but plan on going probably to zen twice a month. But I can go to the Methodist church which is so close I can get a ride.

I'm aware though that I have debated rough against the Christian beliefs here.

However the UMC is a liberal church and a little bit Unversal too they said theyre members can visit and belong to other religions as well so.

You do have to be Christian to join though. But technically liberal Christian churches ,and this was said to me at my UU church, are in the same goals as we do.They join the same social Justice groups we do, go to Gay Pride with us ,participated in World peace. They believe in Black Lives Matter.

So even though I don't agree with Christian doctrine, in the end the spirit matters more then the doctrine, so spiritually they are good.

A secret I hadn't shared either is that even though the doctrines I don't agree with,I do actually enjoy going to church services hearing a sermon if its welcoming, singing the music the art . This church is very artistic looking on the outside and inside, and I love the rituals. My Mom use to go there when I was 20 and 21 30 years ago. They still have a woman paster too. I love going to church.

Strangely enough I use to be brainwashed in a United Pentecostal church for 9 years. I went to church every other day back then. I'm glad I'm not brainwashed anymore but still I love services,Its like a celebration. I'm looking forward to go to the United Methodist church

You know, the term "Christian" is incredibly flexible.......adherents of the belief can't even agree among themselves......If it makes you feel good for some reason, go. What are they going to do, have a bouncer toss you out on your ***?
