As much as I preferred Sanders, Clinton absolutely has more job qualifications (and certainly more than her opponent, who is downright unqualified to even run IMHO). Lots of very valuable political experience, leadership experience, policy experience (both domestic and foreign)... she's someone who knows the system. A question that ran through my mind as a Sanders supporter was whether or not he'd have the political acumen to really get things pushed through our divided and thus broken system. Clinton knows the game, and while any president is going to have a tough time of it, I feel like she'll be able to get some things done.

There are things related to issues, of course. Thus far I'm not as optimistic about what Clinton will do for the environment as I was (rightly) about Obama, but she (and any typical Democrat) is decades ahead of the backwards thinking of the typical Republican, and certainly of her prime opponent in this election. Until that changes, I can really never vote Republican for any offices that might be impacting environmental issues. I hope that this stops becoming a partisan issue sooner rather than later.

Another way of saying this is that she has zero naivete about what she'll face.

And she is a liberal and has been one as the various rating services affirm. The platform she ran on is liberal. Of course I don't agree with all of her positions, but I don't apply a test of ideological purity to someone I can support.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/...as-the-11th-Most-Liberal-Member-of-the-Senate is just one of the many many sites that affirm her politics.

She will maintain the status quo in regards to many of the liberal policies I agree with. She has the political experience, she has the allies and she has the party support. That is good enough for me.

I've not been a fan of Hilary, but I have no doubt she's very competent, as both Boehner and McConnell even admitted when she was SoS.

Hard to say what the truth really is, but it is certainly a possibility. I do find the amount of negativity targeted towards her - the very things said towards the top of the article - rather befuddling. There's quite a bit of negativity in election cycles in general, though, so it is difficult to come up with a more objective appraisal of what is going on.

She's better than her press to an almost bizarre degree, though this has more to do with the media and its gender issues than her personally.

She is a politician, and we do actually need one in the White House. She's fairly stable and consistent in temperament. She has solid liberal values and is unlikely to do much damage from the Oval Office. She's not likely to shake the cabinet up much, a good thing given the alternative. And her pick for the Supreme Court will be beneficial to all of us.
