Hello. Newbie here.

Hello everyone. I stumbled upon this forum in my quest for the truth behind religion and God.

I was born into a Muslim family and raised as one but I was not satisfied with blindly following the faith when I am not sure if it even is the right religion for me. Currently, I'm not practicing any religion but I am not an atheist. I believe that the closest term that I can use to label myself is spiritual.

I hope that I can learn a thing or two from this forum. I look forward to hearing about your beliefs.

Greetings! Welcome to RF.

I can understand that totally. I was Catholic, but otherwise my path has been near identical. I find that deism works for me. I believe in God, but not religion.
I look forward to chatting with you. :)

In case our new member hasn't sunk to eating dead groundup pigs yet, I will offer to sacrifice my own health by eating that biscuits and gravy for her.
I'm just generous that way;)

Welcome, inquisitive one.

If god gave you reason, blindly accepting the ideas you were raised with would be to disparage that gift and to insult God, wouldn't it?

Welcome. The rules for the forum are posted here rules. Something to keep in mind is that when you pursue truth, try to be specific about what you want to discuss. If you are willing to debate, go to a debate area. If you wish to inquire of people in particular faiths, inquire respectfully without argument. We have areas set aside for each purpose. If you have a concern or feel there is a rule violation, report the violation. You may also create a site feedback thread in the Site Feedback section at any time if you have a question about rules, moderators, membership, question about how to do something on the site etc.
