The Hillary Thread

The CIA announced they are looking at one of Hill's top assists about the email scandal. Is this going to go away ?

I think so, and I also believe it's likely that this is one of the reasons why Bernie is still in there plugging away in the long run.
Yes. Bernie is waiting to see if she is indicted for her emails. That would be a game changer.

I like the quote on the article: Hillary is wearing boxing gloves while Trump has a razor blade and broken Coke bottle. This is assymetric warfare. If Hillary doesn't figure this out soon, and adjust, she could be in trouble.

But she's gotta be careful not to spoil an advantage she has, namely that when a man attacks a woman this typically does not go over well with most people. If she responds too strongly to his insults by throwing strong ones back at him, she loses that advantage.

Right. Hillary has high unfavorability with men. She has to win this (minority :) ) group back. Again, assymetry. Let's see if she understands this, and if so, how she does it. I think this will be the key to the election. Choosing Liz Warren as VP will not work !

Agreed. I still hope she goes for Bernie, and he has nor discounted that as a possibility, but after that I really don't know whom would be a better fit. I really like Bill Richardson from N.M., but he's well up there in age. Castro from Texas is another possibility, and he might well attract the young and Hispanic vote.

Whaddya think?

Unfortunately, slim pickens. Bernie has a number of obvious assets and liabilities. I think Hill should go out of her usual comfort zone to get a good VP. Perhaps Jeb Bush ? Hehe..kidding.

I definitely do not think Sanders would be a good VP. He is too much of an iconoclastic purist. Staying in the Senate and getting a lot of clout in the administration would be better for his agenda.
And I think someone younger, who could carry on, would be better in the long run. Castro seems great, although there are many other people who I don't even know who could be better.

As far as Sanders is concerned, I agree. I have a hard time picturing him playing second fiddle. Castro I don't enough about to make a good decision on as I'm just throwing out possibilities.

She and bill both should be in prison.
I live in the U.S.A. where we believe in "innocent until proven guilty" because of something called "the Constitution of the United States", so where do you live? Or is it just that you live in the States but have no desire to operate under the Constitution? If it's the latter, please leave and maybe go to China where I'm sure they'll greet you with open arms because of your mindset.

I was brainwashed. :(
You must have been.

Reminds me of another thread where somebody thought Muhammed Ali was obligated to go shoot at Vietnamese people because the USA was a "democracy". Ali was required to go fight to protect the rights of George Wallace.

Why hasn't Hill started to invoke that name, George Wallace, as a comparison to Trump ?
