If only it were RF that was inundated by this topic. It seems like people are gone crazy. It might be a long time before "gays", Muslims, atheists and others are accepted as just people.

I have had Gay friends who have had Aids. I do not condone Abusing or Hurting Gays, However the Medical Centers do not Allow Homosexuals to Donate Blood or Organs Simply and Only BECAUSE they have a nasty sexual lifestyle. The Medical Centers do accept Gays for what they are and they are BANNED forever from blood centers. Muslims Accept Gays for what they produce and in Muslim run Countries, The Percentage of people with Aids is very, very low.
The UK government advisory committee, SABTO, states that the risk of transfusion of HIV infected blood would increase if Homosexuals were allowed to donate blood. CDC recommends sexually active gay, bisexual and other MSM test for:
HIV at least once a year;
•Syphilis;
•Hepatitis B and C;
•Chlamydia and gonorrhea of the rectum if you’ve had receptive anal sex, or been a “bottom” in the past year;
•Chlamydia and gonorrhea of the penis (urethra) if you have had insertive anal sex or received oral sex in the past year;
•Gonorrhea of the throat if you’ve performed oral sex (i.e., your mouth on your partner’s penis, vagina, or anus) in the past year;
•And sometimes your healthcare provider may suggest a herpes test.
Do Gays need to forgive the Medical Centers too. ? ) they are more than 44 times higher than rates among heterosexual men and more than 40 times higher than women to Contract Diseases. Educating Your children of these facts is a good idea.

The Blood and Organ centers are so, so afraid of Gays and The LAW states that they are under a Lifetime Ban. If You admit to being Gay, You are banned forever. That is simple logic. Good medical practice.

If i had that kind of money. i would consider accepting Homosexual blood. But the Safest, financial choice - is to Ban Gay blood. You take a Huge risk. A 20 + Percent chance being infected by this Group.
