Why cant I be gay?
Why cant red,orange, and green meadow my skies?
Why cant laughs soften my cheeks?
In a land, where there are no divides
Why cant I be gay?
Why cant I share these colors with another?
To whom I can tell my secrets to.
Why cant I have a new best friend?
Why cant I be gay?
Why cant strangers all be my friends?
Why cant our frowns be sprinkled with giggles?
Why cant I enjoy this inside gathering?
Why cant I be gay?
Why must i fall from the nest alone?
Why cant i have someone to catch me?
Where my looks dont determine my safety?
In a world of hurt and pain
What if the colors I hold close,
I let shine over all people as one;
if we can share our jokes together
We would all be gay.
What if we found our life long pen pals,
tell them our joys, our inner being;
if each pair can laugh with one another
We would all be gay.
Were does the divide come between two people?
When one goes left and the other right?
Yet, the path they walk is in one direction,
With its meadow flourished in fall colors,
And no ones view is no different than another
Thats when we will all be gay
