In the middle of a New Game + (NG+) in Darksiders 2. Looting and weapon upgrading is interesting in this game. The main game is getting so easy on highest difficulty. I'll just reached the character level cap then move to the DLC's and the Crucible which has non stop waves of baddies in an open area.

Yeah, insanity is nuts. Basic enemies can annihilate you if you stay out of cover too long. I have heard very little on ME4, but I bought an XboxOne in anticipation of more info
. Bioware, like Bethesda are really good about keeping their games quiet when they want to. If rumors are to be believed, it takes place st the same time as the last 3 MEs, but in a completely different galaxy.

One thing that has been giving some steam to keep up with Mass Effect is decisions in the first game effecting the later games. As far as games go, that feature alone is something I have to see. But, then in order to truly "see" it, I'll have to play through three or four times. And I just cannot get over the "KOTOR shooter" feeling asfar as the general game play, layout, camera, and a bunch of other stuff goes. I'm replaying Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, for maybe the millionth time. I've thoroughly beat it inside and out, there is nothing about the game that I don't know, and I'd still pay for an HD graphics update the moment it's available if it ever happens. Unfortunately though it probably won't have the parts of the Japanese Saturn version, because it's a lot of fun playing as Maria.
I am probably on my 8-10th play through of ME1-3. I have played as almost every class, with the exception of Engineer and Soldier. It is a great series, through and through. The decision carry over and epic story are what keeps me coming back to the game. Well, that and the fun game play. As for KOTOR, I have only ever played KOTOR 2, so I am not very knowledgeable about the feel and gameplay, but this does play pretty similarly to the Dragon Age games, only because it's made by Bioware as well haha. Borderlands doesn't have as much of an RPG feel as ME does, so I don' even classify it as one. It's open world sure, and you level up, sure, but it still just feels like and open-world-shooter to me. I don't get the Role Play aspects of it. I see it and get why it is classified as much, I just don't feel it.
Never played that Castlevania, the only one I have played and beat is for the SNES many years ago

Symphony of the Night is a lot of fun. It has an explorable world like 2, and it has RPG-elements in it like 2, but much better developed. It also has an awesome soundtrack.Never played that Castlevania, the only one I have played and beat is for the SNES many years ago

I'm roughly about 1/4 of the way through SotN, and haven't had to bother with equipping anything yet. The last time I tried to beat the game "naked," I just a bit further into the game and I got a higher-powered rare sword to drop very early in the game, and I couldn't help it but take full advantage of it.

Ive been struggling to find time. Also, the amount of small sub quests is frigging huge, so not making much progress, all in all.

I bought the pack (includes most dlc) on steam, and after some initial screen sizing issues, its running a treat.
Playing as a pagan, which is great fun. Warlike little ******* has fractured Scotland and is now piecing it back together under his own rule.
Human sacrifices and taking captured wives of enemies as concubines is pretty dark, but on the plus side I treat my peasants well.

I have been trying to get the Count to Emperor with one character achievement using the Viking factions due to the free troops and Pagan army they can raise. Still have not completed before my conquests crumble in the wake of my armies. Other than that I am trying to complete a full game with the new Pagan religion options that make it an organized one like the Catholics or Islam. When finished I am going to convert the save into an Europa Universalis 4 game. It will be interesting to have an official Pagan religion within a game world set in during the discovery and colonization of the New World. If you have or like Europa Universalis series consider the 4th for the Crusader Kings 2 saved game conversion. Beyond the Pagan idea I am trying you can try Byzantium, restore the Roman Empire then try your hand at old fashion Roman colonization of the New World.
Try the Zoroastrian Duke of Central Asia just north-east of Iran during the 1066 start. Trying to reverse the Muslim conquests to reestablish the Persian Empire is really challenging. That along with the whole incest you need to avoid by having concubine heirs rather than from your wife. One too many "true-born" heirs lead to insanity bred into the family line. Once that happens the game is over although it is interesting what the devs wrote for insane characters, some are hilarious.

I just spotted a QR code is Borderlands 2. It says "Wise man say, forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza. - Captain Picard."
I know the line well enough to hear it in my head as I was reading it, straight from the turtles movie, but the Captain Picard part really makes me wonder.

I personally HATE the original SNES Super Mario Kart.
I do love MK64, but mostly for nostalgia. Compared to the more recent games, it's not aged well.

Picked up Galactic Civilizations 3 due to being a fan of GC2. I have spend hours in the ship designer just making ships. So far I have made an X-wing, Y-wing and the Nova class Destroyer from Babylon 5 with the rotating section. Granted the ships are not exact duplication due to model components I am happy with the design process. I have only spent about an hour actually playing the game itself so not comment.

With the exception of a few games, I don't think the N64, as a whole, aged that well. The Gamecube by far has aged much better than the N64.

I still love it as well. The N64 didn't get live with the distinction of having many great games for it, and not being anywhere close to its predecessor the SNES, or being able to keep up with its competition the PS1, but the few good games it has are great games.
I really need to give Paper Mario another try. From what I have played, I really haven't played enough to accurately judge it beyond the feeling that it is a mega-huge, ultra, super, VERY BIG disappointment to follow up Legend of the Seven Stars with it, as far as Mario RPGs go.
And I still haven't really gotten into any Mario games since Mario 64 (a game that has aged fantastically), but I really want to play the one they brought the Tanooki suit back for. Ever since Mario 3 came out all those years ago the Tanooki suit has always been one of my favorite things about Mario.
Somewhere I even have an old magazine (probably Nintendo Power) with an old EB games ad that was advertising Mario 3, brand new, for the NES, $49.99. It's probably worth an entire economics study as to why inflation has barely touched video games (see if there is anything other than DLC keeping the price down, which is what I heard, before Halo 2 came out, but I've also heard DLC isn't a very good selling point for game developers).

I started playing Breath of Fire IV. The way the middle-English-esque dialogue was used is horrible, and used incorrectly at times.
I played Battletoads & Double Dragons for the first time in awhile. I used to be able to make it through the first two levels barely getting touched, and minimal problems in the third level, but I failed to make it through the third level without using a continue, and I barely beat Blag without using one. Some day I'll beat that game again.
