What do you say to a person who says, "I like Zen because I don't need to change anything I do and I can mix it with my current religion"?
It's important to not develop anxiety and guilt. But when is no path really no path? |

I would tell them, they must pick and choose which way their actions would actually take them, including, choosing Buddhism over other religions.
When is no path really no path? This is when one does not pick and choose ( do you get the paradox?).

No path is really no path for the adult when the adult is as innocent as the child.

I was not being facetious. First, what is more natural? And what did you say about "guilt"? Second, I had what you may call an epiphany a few days after my radical prostatectomy...the joy and pleasure there is in something as natural as taking a dump without my mind focusing on the discomfort. Now, if I could only learn to apply it to all of life....

When the no path only introduces more entanglements as you walk it, as advertised.
