Dear Zenzero, your prejudace blinds you. Hua T'ou/Gongan meditation of the Lin-Chi (Rinzai)method is Cha'n / Zen. The seven Jhana's /Dhyana's, are Buddhist and I believe practiced by other Buddhist schools. This is also known as Vipassana Samatha. However, If your the only one who knows your right, then us mere mortals must just keep grinding away.

Friend Koan,
There is no effort to prove any wrong doing on anyone's part. ALl efforts are been put to come to an understanding for everyone that what is the state of mind during nirvana. Surely there are thousands of methods of meditation. One may not be knowing all but that is unimportant in as far as the goal is concerend. So it would be fruitful to discuss the state of mind where it should reach finally. have all doors open here but if at times certain door appears closed is due to the balance of ones own karma. Love & rgds |
