The Mustard seed is intuition…..
As from each seed it has grown towards the same light, without anyone showing it which way the others followed..... So with one divine author of light, all the books containing it show intuition.

Friend,
STILL the MIND is Buddhas only message. Out of a STILL MINd intution grows and takes the individual from being an individual towards the universal. It is the very MIND that has to be stilled that you are trying to feed with words, teachings of Buddha forgeting that you too is a buddha waiting to flower. Focus on the buddha sitting deep inside your being and slowly a thousand petal lotus will emerge. Love & rgds |

Niranjan said Quote:
An excerpt from the writings of Huang Po. All Buddhas and all ordinary beings are nothing but the one mind. This mind is beginningless and endless, unborn and indestructible. It has no color or shape, neither exists nor doesn't exist, isn't old or new, long or short, large or small, since it transcends all measures, limits, names, and comparisons. It is what you see in front of you. Start to think about it and immediately you are mistaken. It is like the boundless void, which can't be fathomed or measured. The one mind is the Buddha, and there is no distinction between Buddha and ordinary beings, except that ordinary beings are attached to forms and thus seek for Buddhahood outside themselves. By this very seeking they lose it, since they are using Buddha to seek for Buddha, using mind to seek for mind. Even if they continue for a million eons, they will never be able to find it. They don't know that all they have to do is put a stop to conceptual thinking, and the Buddha will appear before them, because this mind is the Buddha and the Buddha is all living beings. It is not any less for being manifested in ordinary things, nor any greater for being manifested in Buddhas. Huang-po Hsi-yun (?-849) was a Chinese Zen Master, and the teacher of Lin-chi (Rinzai). This translation is found in Stephen Mitchell's The Enlightened Mind - An Anthology of Sacred Prose, Harper Perennial, 1991. Ben D.

Friend Francine,
You are right, girlfriends are girlfriends. One cannot love a girlfriend like one would love a buddha. BUT love cannot be specific. Love is a quality each being has in him. Can a flower directs its essence towards a particular person? It spreads on all sides and whoo ever has a better sense of smell and is near the flower will get it on its own, not any effort on the part of the flower. Love is similarly a quality which is not for a particular person. That love which is specific is caused by desire. Desires causes attachment. Attachment causes impediment to growth. How is your girlfriend anyway? She like you into this madness too? hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Love & rgds |

There is a season for growth, and a season for shedding leaves and retracting growth. The desire for constant growth leads to suffering. I love a specific soul.
