Friend Francine,
Quote:
* I love a specific soul* are like ripples which too will vanish when the mind settles, and the truth reflects. Deep down the lake is always still, its only the ripples on the surface; which is bound to settle with passage of time. Only a constant awareness / alertness is required. Love & rgds |

Yes, it does seem so abstruse. The harder you try, the slower you proceed , the less you try, the more you back slide.
This seems to capture it! A buddha doesn't do good or evil. A buddha isn't energetic or lazy. A buddha is someone who does nothing, someone who can't even focus his mind on a buddha. A buddha isn't a buddha. Don't think about buddhas. If you don't see what I'm talking about, you will never know your own mind. From the Bloodstream Sermon - Bodhidharma

Friend ben d,
Just missed the refernce point of your response. If you state Quote:
Only when thinking stop that the mind does not remain a mind any longer it is no-mind / a void / the whole. Mind cannot be used at all even to focus on buddha it has to be silent / quite for truth to be reflected. Love & rgds |
