It is only about awareness of the words one uses like * I, ME *.
If they are used conciously would mean an understanding is there.
That *I* is same as EXISTENCE or *WE*.
About this *NOTHING* yes manmade word. The essence is *SHOONYATA* or nothingness in english to be more precise. [should have used that in the first instance]
It is again nothing to do with mine but total essence of all those who have understood IT and ceased to BE. They became a BEING a PRESENCE or just a CONCIOUSNESS or again a NOTHINGNESS.
To be totally in that state is where Buddha, Jesus and others reached. The state where thoughts are no more in fact they have dropped totally. The mind is just in a state of NOTHINGNESS where existence flows IN & OUT from and into.
Satori is the state where the journey starts when an individual is actually said to be born as till then the existence is only unconcious.
The effort if any required is just to be concious of the THOUGHTS arising and not getting involvd with them. The arise out of their own nature like waves in an ocean and drops on its own like them waves. Let Shoonyata/nothingness be the guide and slowly but surely we will all reach to that state.
The MIND [satan in Bible] can never allow the individual to reach that state by its very nature and so be it western/eastern [as it is only relative to the position on earth and not any position from SPACE] makes no difference to its [MIND's] character/nature. Anyone using it will be always divided will be either in the PRESENT or FUTURE will be either looking at GOd or DEVIl, good/bad, light/darkness. Truth is both are equally there and being in the present one can view both sides like the centre of the pendulum both sides are present. *Buddha's middle path* Remain in the centre and allow the mind to swing and each time it will come to rest in the centre moving from side to side, slowly and surely as conciousness increases the swings will become less and less and finally stops swinging.

note: personally The swings are there in the body I live in but am concious of them. Please understand that.
