What is Zen? (Earth, mystic, Buddhism, eternity, Buddhism)

Zen is the Colours, between the lights in the rainbow…..
Zen is the sounds, that captchers the imagination of the listener….
Dao is the art easel, to hold the Zen……
Faith is the water, that flows from the Dao to paint the Zen....

My appologies, the third school of Zen in Japan is not Umon, it is Obaku.

Sincere apologies for having not responded to this post for long.
As we know that some one said there are as many buddhas as the grain of sands on the Ganges.
Similarly as many paths too as each individual is differnt differnt because each has a different MIND.
The object of all Travellers of any PATh is the same.
Zen has evolevd out of the BEST. Buddhism and TAO.
ZEN just cuts through the whole PLAY and approaches the objective very directly.
Eventually as have mentioned before each and every being will reach the objective either by evolution or by revolution. Depends on individual choices.
All are as good as the other it is more to do with being comfortable in.
One is free to make his choice as what choice he makes will always be the best for him.
Studying/knowing about different schools different religions, practices, customs etc.etc. is not necessarily helpful but again is a personal choice. None is against anything be it learning, reading just that whatever one does if done conciously/ meditatively half the work is done there itself.
