I love it when I can learn about my own faith. This is great! I mean that with all sincerity. I'll chime in if I think it's necessary. Victor, you're asking some fantabulous questions. ![]() Peace, Mystic |

Too much of noises here.
Zen master could find the use of his stick. Whatever be the way [each religion is but a way] the goal remains the same. Cease thinking, drop the mind. How does one know that the mind has dropped? when one hears the ONE HAND CLAP. Till then no discussion only MEDITATION which is the ONLY way. It is only by silencing the mind that it can be dropped. The reflection of the moon is clearly visible when there are no ripples in the lake. No effort can stop the ripples. Just by allowing nature to do it likwise let nature silence the mind be only an OBSERVER. Love & rgds |

Sorry - that is a form that does not resonate with me. I would not be a Buddhist if that were the only way I could practice.
I am happy that you have found your way, but I do not subscribe to your notion that yours is the ONLY way.

As many ways as many leaves on all the trees on earth.
The goal is one which is akin to Zen/ dyana/meditation. The state of every being [forms or no forms] The state budhhas are. Each religion leads to the same state. Noise means confusion. remove it to focus on the goal and develop the understanding. All responses are from the mind. The goal is when the same mind ceases. How to cease it should be the response?
