Hi everybody! I just recently found this website. I did a google search on the question 'does Satan exist?' and found an interesting thread and a few posts later, it looks like I'm hooked!

So you're probably wondering about that search and my religion. Well as far as Satan goes, I'm interested in him as a literary figure. (If you detect an English degree in that last sentence, you're correct.) I don't believe in him as a sentient being, (and kudos to you if you do. We'll have to have coffee some time), but I enjoy stories and history about to him. Plus sometimes I read about him when I'm down, and I usually find myself cheered up. Apparently he's a good therapist and friend.

As to the rest of my belief system, I sometimes describe myself as an agnostic with spiritual tendencies. I play with tarot cards and do that quieting the brain meditation thing some times. Plus I like logic and philosophy.

So pretty I'm much all over the map. It's good to meet you folks!
