I'm a bit of both actually. I've never been able to buy into the idea of a father figure in the sky keeping track of everything we do just in case he has to burn us later... but I don't dismiss the possibility of an entity of *some* sort, though I don't think It's necessarily sentient. My current pet theory is that maybe It was (bored/lonely/seeking meaning/whatever) and decided to sort of split itself apart for the experience. Maybe It wanted someone to talk to or maybe It wants to figure out who/what It is... this is the nutshell version, but basically that would mean we're all reflections of eachother, all human knowledge is out there waiting for us to figure out how to access it, and I'm talking to myself right now. Hi me, you rock. My bf is in the habit of pointing out when I'm aggravated with someone... they might just be the bad parts of me externalized.. or maybe if that person didn't exist to be terrible, those bad parts would be part of my current incarnation as well and I need a reminder of that. If this were the case it would also mean there's no "outer" God... just the consciousness of the Whole waiting for all of us to tap into it properly.

Really. I need ten foot tall letters to properly express that. At least he's given me a high tolerance for aggravation and a pretty dang resilient sense of humor. And I get to bug my friends because I catch on to their shenanigans before they even realize they're shenaniganizing. There's nothing incriminating to tell about my dad though, and it's pretty much impossible to embarrass him. I will say that he's generally up to no good, but more of a humanitarian than he sometimes lets on. Don't worry, I'll keep him in check as much as is possible. (which isn't that much, but maybe better than what you guys are used to?)

Yay for more RAW fans! It still kind of astounds me how few of them I've met. Every time I try to get someone to read him they completely ignore me. I'd say it's their loss, but I kind of think mandatory RAW research would do us all some serious good. I'll check out some of your posts later, I need to catch a few z's before I have to run off to class tonight.
