Hello,

I am new here and spiritually well-educated, (and not in the way that most everyone claims).

My question is: There are many practices of faiths on the planet, but if there is only one TRUE God...how can there be more than one TRUE Religion?

Is the use of the term "Religion" simply used here to mean "faiths"?

Welcome to the forum Ark. The problem with your question is, no one knows if there is only one true god. Or even know anything about the one true god if it exists. So, I suppose truth about religion is somewhat subjective, as with the religions. I hope you enjoy yourself here. And welcome again.

My belief is that there may be an infinity of faiths, and that all of them can be correct. That doesn't mean that any faith is more or less powerful than another. But, again, that's just my opinion.

Thank-you for the warm welcome.

I certainly think that Religious Education is extremely important. I tend to think that most people on the planet know a lot less about Religion than they think they do.

I have been regarded as an eccentric, so I have a tendency to clam up about certain things. Perhaps it is the clouds of my life that do not allow others to see that they can learn much about Religion from one who perhaps appears as moreso a "village idiot".

Hey Ark welcome!
I personally believe there is One Divine force that connects and binds all things. I think there are so many different faiths because there are so many different types of people. I believe each culture or group has had their own encounter with the Divine and their beliefs and faiths evolved based upon their culture's reflection of that experience.
