Hi There!
I am a Bishop "out there on the edge". Any other edge like people of faith here to drop me a line or two? Peace be unto you... ![]() |

Good day.
I don't think I'm on the edge of faith... I'm far from the edge... ![]() Anyway, I hope you have a jolly good time here on the forums. ![]()

Welcome, Bishop CT. Faith seems to have lots of edges. Which one are you near?

How far out is the edge, I don't know the answer to that yet. However, I'm considered a radical thinker, a rebel (but I do have a cause), a new-age minister, and the one I laugh out loud at is an over-night Bishop. All because I am not the standard issue man, member-of-faith, minister and certainly not a bishop.
I feel you ought to first get to know me, then as we fellowship with one another we get to share our experiences, values, beliefs. (This is also called relationship building, lol) If by having this experience you see Christ in me, then the seed is planted, and if I see Christ in you; spiritual seeds are planted in both of us. I am not consumed by what you call your faith, or what religious sector/heading it falls under. Nor am I consumed if you are a not faith-based person. As long we can come together in unity and love one another, the rest will take care of it's self. ![]() I am strange because my home church is a First United Methodist Church, and I have an ecclesiastic faith background. I came to this particular church because of the dynamics of the family of faith there. It is the largest intergrated church in my city, and my pastor is a dynamic preacher/researcher. In addition, he is quite the actor in the various productions that are present at this church. However, being the person that I am (crazy I've been told), sitting inside a church building alone only holds limited attachment for me. When I came to this church we had a thriving social service/mission work @ the church serving the community adjacent to the sanctuary and beyond. Being in social service myself this appealed to my crazy senses of community engagement, and faith in action. Now on another reply, we'll talk about should churches have a 501C3 status, or should they have a seperate non-profit organization to implement social service programs. or not? Until then peace..... ![]()

![]() I know that I am on the edge with my ministry, because I don't fit into the nice cookie cutter mode. I am not on the edge with my faith, but I am seeking the cutting edge way of ministering to God's people of faith. Rock on... ![]()
