I found your site and thought it is the perfect place for me now. Im very confused.I was raised christian by my parents, unfortunetly God took my mother too early form me,when i was 10 years old she died in car accident - irresponsable driver killed her and never got cought for this outrage crime which changed my life. My father changed a lot after my mother's death. We tried to not hate the murderer and forgive for what he has done, after all,we were not the ones to judge him. I belive in Lord's judgement and hope he will burn in Hell. The reason i registered in this site is because im very upset. In my school the kids are behaving themselfs awfull and living lives full of sins.Im being discriminated against all the time. They always make fun of me,because i follow the words of the Lord. But the thing that pushed me hardest, was something that happend 2 days ago at school. The teacher was telling a story of a kid who died of cancer and in the break one of the students said: "Everytime a child dies,God mastrubates".
I was so shoked and offended by this,i ran of school that day and stood at home whole afternoon.I still just cant take this anymore. I could use your advices, good people. What should i do? Last edited by 6ibanifanatici; 11-02-2007 at 09:30 AM. |

my advice to you dear is to learn to expect intolerance from all people, try your best to be non-judgemental to those that make fun of you...because what they are making fun of is what they have seen from religion all their lives, not that you are the one portraying it, but that you are a religious person and you are being given the attributes of other religious people that they have seen as hypocrites and liars.
at least thats my opinion. dont be offended easily, and try not to offend others....also, seek the Face of God out side of the Bible and Church.

Hi! Welcome to RF.
I also grew up in the religious path and when I was going to school, I was disturbed at some of the things the other girls did. I found a couple friends who had similar interests with me and hung out with them all the time. It's very important at this time of your life not to give in to peer pressure. You sound strong minded though and you don't seem like someone who will give in to peer pressure. I'm sorry about your mom, but in my beliefs, we will all be reunited with God one day. The body is only temporary. The true Self or Spirit never dies. "Everytime a child dies,God mastrubates". I can see how you're offended by that....I'm offended by that. We are all dear to God, especially children. We think of death as something cruel that God does because we miss those that we love. However, in life and in death, God always looks out for us. God is always there. We face many challenges...especially when we're on a spiritual path. Keep faith in God. Let go and let God.

You are having a tough time.
God will give you the strength to over come every thing. There must be other Christian teens near you who are also looking for others. Your church is a good place to start looking. You should not worry about what others do or think... Just live your own life the way you find God wants you to.

![]() i'm not a Christian, and without wanting to make too many assumptions, i suspect i have a very different view of morality than you do, but you will certainly find shelter and warmth here at RF.

Because God loves us, He has given us free will. Sometimes, often even, that may seem like a curse, as when someone kills your mother by behaving stupidly, or someone claims that God masterbates over the death of a child, also behaving stupidly. But in a strange way, even these horrible actions are the result of God's gift, and hopefully through them, we will all eventually learn how to love God and each other. It sometimes takes these kinds of horrible mistakes to get us to see how stupid we really are. Even your mother's killer may yet learn this, because of God's generosity.
Try and understand that these people, who do these hateful things, are lost to the light of God's love, yet God still loves them enough to give then free will (which they are abusing). I know it seems a bit paradoxical, but that's because God can love us so much more fully and completely than we are able to love each other. So my suggestion would be to try and pray for those you see who are so lost to God's gifts that they would abuse them like that. And try to pray for the ability to forgive them yourself, as God forgives them, until they come to see the light. In so doing you will become a light to others. And in fact you already are ... far more than you may know. And never forget that God loves you. He did not take your mother from you. The other driver did that. God only gave the other driver free will, which that man then abused. Let's pray that he gets caught, or otherwise turned around before he harms someone else. |

Welcome to RF! I'm sorry to hear about your loss and confusion. I've been through the same thing, and other similar things.
Keep in mind that other people see the world differently than you. When someone says something mean like that, it is often either empty, or they have their own pain that they are trying to remove. Someone who says that needs help. I wish you luck. I was bullied in school myself; I got through it by the strength of my will and the belief that life will go on to other things that will make the suffering worth it. Your faith may change over time, but it is with you know. Read and do your best to understand the posts here at RF. Look deep into the relationships of our members and learn from how their ideas, beliefs, and interactions affect you and each of us. Once again, welcome. ![]()
