Introduction
Hi from the Tennessee hills. I am not familar with forums, but have posted to various blogs, and this seems similar. My spiritual paradigm is that of an old monk, not a monk in this life though - rather a householder. I am a retired engineer- now 68 years old. I started out from a Catholic family, but that was not to my taste so I read a lot on mysticism, cosmology, astrology, etc. About 30 years ago I did the Course In Miracles and then got into the Sant Mat tradition about 20 years ago. In a nutshell we accept all religions as having elements of truth, have a living master, are lacto vegetarian, don't do drugs, live an upright moral life style, and meditate a few hours a day. I have been meditating, using various techniques, for about 40 years and have had various degrees of success at times. I look forward to chatting and learning from this diverse group. I am open minded and feel we are all on our own spiritual path because we are all unique, like grains of sand or snowflakes.
