Hello everyone. This seems to be a nice site with interesting people. I'm a truth and peace seeker who wonders why people fight over religions. Is it due to vanity, lack of education, immaturity...or what?

While we're on the subject, there is a book called "Urantia United"...IMHO, it usurps the Bible, Torah, Koran and the Urantia Book in giving equal validity to all religions. It also beautifully details God and Heaven. This book has my vote and full support.

Isn't it about time that divisions between religions are eliminated? Isn't God too large to fit into any one religion? Isn't it time for religious rationality?

Welcome to you. I hope you find what you seek in this forum.

I'm already discovering that one needs to become more specific with one's questions in this life.

Truth about what? The existence of God, which religion is the right one, who ate my sandwich?

Peace in what way? No fighting on the Earth? No chainsaws in a redwood forrest?

People fight about religion for so many reasons. Their own insecurity, to "save" people's souls, the "cleanse" out the infidels, and so on. I think the only way the divisions are to be eliminated once and for all would be for God (in whatever form one believes) to come straight out and walk (hover, glide, etc.) the Earth and talk to people en masse and prove His own existence without any doubts.
