Recently I said goodbye to a message board I have been posting on for years.
It just became to be much and I was no longer willing to swallow the prima-donna horse hockey behavior. It felt like I was breathing though a pillow the last six months. My leaving had nothing to do with my nose being out of joint or any one individual but more to the “Tone” of the board in general. So I am looking for a new place to post. The other open forum use to have members with strong opinions on every thing, we at one time could exchange viewpoints. Feathers were ruffled but we were adults about it. As time passed, I watched many members who brought that spice leave for the same reason I have. We disagreed a lot but it added to the reasons people post on massage boards. I’m am a strong believer you cant say in one hand freedom of opinions and then with the other discuses using your faith to force others to dummy down ideals and posts to keep it slated your way. How you think how your walk in you faith has brought you to this point is you, not others why should everyone fall in line behind you. I have very strong options but that does not mean I am not willing to learn from others. I am a good LDS saint, 29 years, a wife and mother of four grown children and grandmother. I like a place were I can post with out worrying about what I post with out having mental green jello thrown at me. I love to talk politics and ideas of others with out the fear of being oppressed. I was shocked when told to post the “republican” way “so to speak” or be band. I’m am a American I have a right to say I don’t agree and none has to tell me I have too shut up and take it. I live in Canada; I am married to a retiring career soldier. (60 days left) My family lives in the states and from Michigan to Alaska and in-between. I love were I live being in Canada gives me a chance to watch from the out side looking in. This brings strong feelings and options as well. At times, I may call others to read or watch a new article or news clip that is aired in Canada you do not see in the US. Canada is blessed with not only our own news and programming but that of Britain and the USA as well. You can be shocked how much the USA misses in a day about them self’s. There are a few things you may want to know about me. My spelling is terrible it is a learning disability from childhood that I have learned over the years to retain myself, but I do count on my spell check to help but it does not always work. So pointing out or making fun belittles you not me. I’m not willing to wrap my self in Molly Mormon / Peter priesthood pretend I live in the real world were nothing ever bad happens and I wont act like I’m perfect when I’m not. I deal with real life, I do not know were some of you live but I will call you on it when you pass it off as fairyland. LDS members do live out side of Utah and Idaho and in different lands remember we are a global church. Some of us live were we battle to keep our jobs when employers find out your Mormon, we take verbal abuse from co-workers and people who come to your door to save your sole. I do not wait for my political party to do the right thing. I get out there and I get dirty. None has the right to tell me to do other wise. I fight for what is right, and that does not always mean making the rest of the world believe as the LDS faith does. I have been a single divorced mother twice, what I have done to protect mine and those I love may some times make you raise your eyebrows but I have always found myself at the top when done. I have been though a lot but you will not find me taking it lying down. I am a person of action. When I have reason, I will fast till I dropped, prayed till my knees are like leather, I once wrote every Member of Parliament in Ottawa and mailed them a photo of my eldest son taken before his kidnapping and the days of brutal sexual assault. I forced a government to implement the dangers offenders’ act that was gathering dust on a shelf some were. I am the LDS sister who gets in the face of priesthood members who abuse children when others just talk about it. My loving and supportive husband has a saying, “I make a point to never upset the wife”. I am the ruff sister some find hard to be friends with and that is OK; I will love them just the same. I know who I am I’m one of those people that always does what others really would like to do but wont or cant. I know how to get what I want, what is right. I can use the law and the media to fight for others rights not just my own. On another note I am also known for kidnapping neighbors Gnomes. Leaving a ransom letters from the Gnome freedom fighters. Taking them on family holidays then returning them with suitable souvenirs and scrapbook. I highly recommend it, your family will have a blast looking and finding places and things to do with the Gnome. Photographing the adventure. It leaves your Gnomes owner wondering who would do such a thing with giggles all around. Well I am hoping I have found a new place to post. Winnieg |

I wish we could say that we're completely free from any and all 'blow-ups' here, but we try try our best to be while also maintaining free speech. (Within the forum rules, though.) There's a guide that we have for our newer members here, but please know that you can ask questions at any time and we'll try to answer as best we know how.

Well dame girl,! Im so new I cant find my avatar with both hands,
I have so many things to learn, like how to use all these new buttons, insert photos. I have cool Gnome knapping photos to show off. I could not at my old board someone decoded I broke the "law" and would not allow me to show them. The military family next door who is also military went nuts when the base new paper returned them to the slave owners. They have agreed to sign a Union cataract before resuming Gnome Yard work, |
