...mmmm...

I always hate doing the intro thing...reminds me of the first day of school when the teacher makes everyone do the little speech in front of the class....

*sigh* ok, deep breath...here goes...


So, I have a twisted sense of humor, I abhor hypocracy, I adore $2 words and I have chinchillas for pets (no normal cats or dogs here). I'm married, and we are expecting our first child. We are both in the military and we are both pagan (he's druid, I'm eclectic). I am fascinated by obscure facts and I truly believe that you can never go wrong with a big glass of sweet tea, southern style (the only redeeming thing about being stationed in Virginia).

Really there could be more...but I work nights and its bedtime...so my brain hurts

just flooding...everything was closed...power was out all over the place, some trees knocked down and such, I think a few people had some window/roof/storm surge damage that lived more beach side, but we weathered it ok

all in all not too bad, but I grew up on the Mississippi in the midwest, flooding and BIG storms are seasonal norms for me...my poor roomate on the other hand is from southern California...and had never seen it rain for that long before...
