I've been a BADDDDD girl ^_^;;;
I actually joined several months ago, then forgot about this place even existing until I promotion showed up in my in-box. So back I came, and discovered that I'd already posted. So I got involved again....and then realized I'd never made an intro. So here it is, better late then never :P I'm Vigdisdotter aka Erin. I'm a 30 year old woman from Vancouver Island, Canada. I have four cats and a horse and am employed as a family support worker (ask about that if you want, it takes a little explaining). I'm a bit of an odd duck as I don't' view the world as most people do, but that's okay. Sometimes I confuse people with my ideas, other times I turn their brains into mushy peas and on rare occasions, I actually spark some new ideas ~_^ Spiritually, I describe myself as a Modern Constructionist Germanic Heathen with Shamanic Tendencies. Basically I'm in the process of creating and defining my own path (which does have a name, I just have to get off my *** and flesh it out). Among other things, I read Tarot and am a Rune Rister. Nice to meet you all. This place is delightful. |

Wouldn't life be easy if we could all fit into neat little boxes? I am a bit like you; I use the Tarot, but for meditation. Please feel free to check out our guide for our newer members (from which there is a link to the Forum Rules with which you ought to familiarise yourself). If you have any questions about anything, please ask! I hope you enjoy your stay with us, and look forward to seeing you around. ![]()

[quote=evearael]I hope you like it here!
I already do. It's very peaceful and civil here, which is refreshing ![]() [quote=evearael]What is a family support worker? Think Nanny but for the parents as well as the kids. Basically mon-fri I come in for 8 hours a day and take over. The mom has a head injury, which is why I'm there and they are very much in the process of healing as a family because of that injury. Quote:
Kitty #1 ->Eeyore, a silver zebra tabby domestic short hair, with a penchant for human food and energy work. Kitty #2 ->Freya, a GORGEOUS tan bullseye tabby that just LOVE anyone who will give her affection, not so thrilled about having to share a house with other cats. Kitty #3 ->Isis, Freya's runty sister. She would be a light grey bullseye tabby except that she has all these peach splotches as well. And she's scary smart, but as gentle as they come. Kitty #4 ->Scrat, named for the character from the movie Ice Age because she makes the same sounds and has a poofy tail. She's a medium long hair tortishell with an attitude. She's been know to bite noses when someone tries to kiss her. |
