I stumbled upon this forum and am glad to see a place where people of all faiths are valued and can engage in discussion. The ancient proverb, "iron sharpens iron" is very important. It is healthy to discuss one's ideas and thoughts with others. If not, we run the risk of building our lives within the ghetto of our own thinking.

That is why I am here. I believe that I possess truth, but not all truth. I am here to learn from others and hope that I can lend to the discussion.

I am a Christian, baptized Methodist. However, I am very interested in Catholicism. I am open to all faiths, and a moderate to liberal in persuasion.

Thank you to the administrators for providing this wonderful service! I hope to meet many of you in the weeks and months to come.

I noticed your religion is "christian wiccan." I have never heard of that one, but am very interested. During my teenage years, I got very angry with the Church and left in search of an alternative. I found a wiccan community and began to read and study all that I could. I found that many of the prejudices held by christians against wiccan belief are unfounded and largely due to ignorance. However, I can say that it was rare that I found a wiccan that was positive about the christian faith.

Is there a developed group of christian wiccans or are you a self proclaimed solitary? I would be interested to see how you blend the two religions. I find it fascinating! There are many things about the wiccan way of life and belief that I find appealing.
