Greetings and salutations to all!
I have been reading some of the comments on this site for a while, and now decided to join it since I find discussion an important element of tolerance and understanding. I chose this handle not because I pretend to be its essence or even fully grasp its meaning. Some may already know that one of the important teachings of the Baha'i Faith is lack of clergy and interpretation of its writings for others, rather that individuals are encouraged to do so for themselves. I wonder sometimes that if we were to define the Baha'i Faith in one word, what it would be. While many potent words such as: love, unity, harmony, peace, equality, justice, fellowship ... come to mind, fascinating and intriguing to me has always been ONENESS. Baha'i Faith teaches three onenesses: of God, mankind, and religion, hence the famous children's song: "God is one, man is one, and all the religions are one Land and sea, hills and valleys, under the beautiful sun God is one, man is one, and all the religions agree When everyone learns the three onenesses, we'll have world unity (2)" So with that in mind, may we always be ‘at one’ with ourselves, and some day acknowledge the ‘oneness of humankind’ as a race. Peace,

Thank you to all for your kind words. In a world which is sinking ever deeper into the abyss of materialism and individualism, it is comforting to hear and engage in spiritual discussions and be reminded of our interdependence and oneness.
God Bless,
