Greetings (ritual, beliefs, followers, experience, dogma)

My apolagies. Contrary to the description of this post, I'll not be sharing my life story here. It did get you to open my message though, didn't it?

Anyway, on with me and who I am. Hopefully I won't be incurring the wrath of the righteous by openly stating my beliefs, but oh well. I'm a practicing Satanist and have been for some years now.
Due to personal experiences, I've been drawn to such studies as spirituality, occultism and religion since my childhood. My family tried to be Christian for a little bit, but it was completely superficial. They did it just to fit in basically. So, for the majority of my life, I was raised in a completely un-religious environment. I can't express to you how thankful I am for this now, that I wasn't stifled with religious dogma as a child.

On another note, I've noticed that there's no Satanic forum. Hopefully that will change. LeVay's Satanism is truly worthy of being discussed and having all the rumors and lies stripped away.
To end my intro, I'll conclude with a quote from the founder of Satanism, Anton LaVey:

"You cannot love everyone; it is ridiculous to think you can. If you love everyone and everything you lose your natural powers of selection and wind up being a pretty poor judge of character and quality. If anything is used too freely it loses its true meaning. Therefore, the Satanist believes you should love strongly and completely those who deserve your love, but never turn the other cheek to your enemy!"

Welcome to the forums. Please feel free to share your beliefs with us, we welcome all religions.

As far as satanism forum goes we will need to have more of a user base to establish its own forum b/c we don't want to over populate forums with very little posts. If you can get some fellow followers to drop by and say they also would like to see that forum then we can go from there.
