Greetings from another Newbie! (Christianity, Satan, Christian, Christ, philosophy)

Hi all

Have been searching for a forum that is serious about learning, and I think I just found the right place. I'm a wanderer, consider myself a Christian, but I'm all for learning.
My path has taken me through most belief structures so far, but this journey never ends, we all keep learning.
Isn't that what it's all about?

Apologies for the blankness, I admit to not being used to this forum, and will take the time to sort it all out.
I started this path with Christianity, which I could not reconcile with my life at that time, moved into Humanism, then over to Wicca, then into Satanism, left it all for a while, gone into Atheism, and now I am Christian, but I'm not the exclusive kind that believes there are no other paths, nor that this will be the last direction I take.
As far as I go I want to learn, I work it on a philosophy that if one's knowledge sits correctly within one, it cannot fall, but if it's full of untruths, it won't stand. So many little things that don't make sense to my mind.
There are so many questions that I have, still, and had not found any forums that didn't just bash me straightaway - I think this forum is more what I am looking for, and look forward to good discussions.

Yikes no guilt trip intended!! So what you do with all the books from your religions and all the old friends from your old religions?

Oi! No guilt trip meant! I was actually being sincere....
Sigh....unfortunately my parents did not see things as I did, being Dutch Reformed Christians, they simply went through my things and threw all my non-Christian things, as seen in their view, into a black bag, and I never saw it again. Within a month I had moved out. I won't disrespect them while living in their house, but they noticed all was not happiness when after seven years they had not received an invitation to as much as coffee at my house. They simply don't have the respect I ask for, and that's not a lot.
I still went on to get a few books (some were also stolen) - two remain (one on High Magic and another on Egyptian Magic) and a Pagan friend I worked with has asked for those, which I sent on happily.
As for my friends, most I still have, except for some 'vampires' and avoid the serious bashers now. I have respect for what they believe, and ask the same in return.

I always enjoy meeting someone who's travelled many spiritual paths. They usually have wonderful insight into the workings of each one!
