Alas, I am still a bit ticked at Loki and the boys for ending my previous career.

It is not easy being an ice giant in this day and age. Oh well.

Seriously though, I am a fifty year old dude who has more than a bit of knowledge with computers/operating systems etc. I have also persued my own spiritual path, for all of my adult life and well, things have been pretty neat in that department. I am not a member of any religious organization, but long long ago, I did get into TM.

I am currently working on my autobiography and that is what has got me to branch out a bit and test my wings, as it were. I hope you all will tolerate me... and be sure to hit me with a large stick if I say anything that offends anyone.

Hello and welcome! We like Ice Giants here- though I should warn you that we have some Loki-lovers!

The fridge is where we keep the Dr. Pepper, but there should be enough space to keep you cool!

If I may ask, does your autobiography focus on one particular part of your life, or is it more general? (I ask because I love writing, and have contemplated an autobiography.)

Thanks robtex, the feeling is mutual.

You ask an interesting question. Why? Hmmm. How to put it. I grew up in a non-religious household (THANK YOU, Mom & Dad!!!!!) and from an early age was always encouraged to think for myself.

There was two close calls tho...

1. To this day, I have a distinct fondness for the followers of Lord Krishna. I am, however, not a follower. That one was real close though, LOL. (and a very long time ago)

2. Curiously... Buddhism also struck a chord with me. But again, it did not add up, at least in my mind.

So, I stuck to the middle path and frankly I have never regretted it.

It is still, in progress, and I currently envision it in three sections. The first section that I am still working on is a specific cathartic point in my life. (I have 5 - 30 year old, 3 ring binders and approximately 36 notebooks (dream diaries) that I have as reference to feed my memories.)

What I am doing is charting my inner journey. It certainly makes for entertaining reading. On a personal note, I can only tell you that this is the most remarkable thing I have ever undertaken. I HIGHLY recommend that everyone should write "their story" at some point in their lives.

That sounds good (great for introspection, if nothing else); I don't think I would dare write an autobiography; for one, most would never believe the half of it. As they say, "Truth is stranger than fiction".
