Hello Michel,
I do live in the states. And I do read the Bible occasionally, it has been underlined and finger-marked. So, I can find meaning in it, but I tend to enjoy getting beyond the basics, or false truths, which some people errantly apply to Christ's message. To follow Christ means picking up the cross, not an easy task, but it is the truth, of an open hand, sinless. The cross, as analogy, is the source of all forgiveness, one's personal forgiveness. But a personal story only has validity if it is able to apply universally, to all, an identification, and not a decree. One can always look back at the source of wisdom, in any tradition. |

Heya John,
I think you are dead right with the importance you place on listening. With that way of thinking, you are bound to get on with people at RF (actually with people just about anywhere come to think of it). Anyways, welcome to the forums . Have a good time here.Fluffy

You can get excited Michel, just no clothes throwing. I see enough naked people already. Just kidding, and not.

You sound fed up, cynical........... work been hard ? I see you work in ICU; that must be harrowing, at times.

Thanks for the warm reply everybody. Mikel wants to call me cynical for some reason I don't know. I read a co-worker's daughter's poetry in a journal last night, like there wasn't enough to do. But I took a greast deal of satifaction and glee at having a see at how truly gifted her 16 year old is as a writer. Her words could be very easily set to music
One should avoid labels of others, one limits the full range of feeling and being human. I am no cynic when I eat, or sleep, Too much ecxitement provokes suffering in that we cannot get back what we once had. When we label others, what we are really doing is saying something about our own limitations. |
