Default i guess im suppose to...
I suppose I'm suppose to post here. =) Well I live in Waco, Texas, I'm 17 years old, I'm going to be a senior, and I like long walks on... okay, I guess I can skip that one. I have been raised in the Christian Church but upon hitting teenage years quickly turned against traditional Christian doctrine as I don't believe in the exclusivity of one religious group on 'the truth.' So as a universalist in a VERY baptist area I got onto alot of online communities to discuss religion and started to study other religious doctrines, the one that interested me the most was Buddhism and modern humanistic philosophy. After reading more and more philosophy (most notably Ayn Rand) I realized that the truth is I don't find religion to be something worth control of my life. I value humanity way higher than the thought of my own potential salvation after death. So now I consider myself a humanitarian, and as for belief in God I'm agnostic, and not seeking to change that as I'd rather die a sinner who helped humanity than a sinless man who was focussed on his own salvation who did nothing for humanity.
