G'Day,



My name isAnonymous_charlie. I'm new to this forum and am looking forward to participating in the many wonderful discussions here.



I live in a small Australian town where the standard issue religion is Catholicism, because of this my family is Catholic and I studied at a Catholic school. I was happy with this until my early teens when I began to question my upbringing and hereditary faith.



Out of rebellion i turned to the occult, not because I truly believed it but more for shock value and the novelty of it more than anything else. The occult however can be a cruel mistress and for just over a year I traveled a misleading road.



Like Catholicism I started to question the occult and fortunately strayed of that path as well. I now don't really follow any religion, but instead a personal spirituality of my own taken from my Catholic upbringing, some of what I learnt from the occult and allot more from many other philosophies and spiritualities i have looked into the last couple of years. I believe in Logic, balance and the union between philosophy, science and spirituality.



Well there is an overview of my spiritual upbringing. I hope to get to know you guys here and further my spiritual growth through discussion and debate.

Thank you for your many welcomes.

My interests are:
Art, Movies, writing, poetry, Socializing, Partying, Music (All accept pop).

My hobbies are:
Fishing (not much else to do around here), painting, writing, playing guitar, socializing, partying and I'm sure there are more that dont come to mind.

Living in a small town means there is not much to do accept go fishing, and hang out at the pubs. Most people around are fanatical about Australian rules football and if your like me and don't like footy then there isnt much to do. Fortuantly during the summer there is no football and cricket takes over for a couple of months, and i dont mind cricket.

I love the summer as i love hanging out at the beach and going camping. I also consider myself a beer expert and a good cook as my father is a chef. i guess im just a good old Aussie bloke...with a twist.

Spectacular

I must say I never had much of a taste for fishing...far too impatient, I suppose. But I also love being outside - camping and on the beach, and I adore summer, so I guess we're not that different

Art history, or just creating art? What kind of art?
