Default Hi Im new here
Hey im new to the board. I really dont see eye to eye with the catholic church at all. I am catholic. A priest at my highschool just got accuser for molesting a kid. Archbishop Ryan high school. The way i see it is why do i have to go to church every sunday, If i dont go to church does that make me a bad person? In the eys of the church it sure seems that way, yet their own people are breaking all the rules. They even steal money from my high school. Isnt you shall not steal a rule? Also why cant they get married? I find that a little wierd and i think if they were giving the right to marry they would do a better job. They cant do any worse can they?

Welcome, I feel for the catholic priests who are being accused of these crimes. I know some have done it, but I believe it is getting out of hand. People are starting to sue for stupid things now like, he didn't give me confession. Or he told me I was a sinner and if I wouldn't shape up I would burn in hell. Causing mental depression and stuff. Even though I am no longer catholic and do not believe anything that it teaches. I am still good friends with many priests and feel great sorrow for this sadness. Remember, there are bad people in any religion. So don't lose hope over something as trivial as this. It should be for much better reasons.
