Don't worry about it. I wear a skirt sometimes and I'm a "guy", and I've only gotten the bird flipped at me a couple of times. Believe me, there's a lot more you could do then just wearing a Pentagram to work.

I wear mine to work, under my shirt. It's enough to know that it's there, reminding me of my commitment to the Gods.

Wearing it in the open would make many people uncomfortable -- while we've recieved a fair amount of exposure in the past few years (particularly with Roberta Stewart's pentacle campaign), we still have a long way to go.

So, to cut a long rambling post short (and to paraphrase a certain political figure) -- be discreet, be aware, be cautious.

It is a free country indeed. This means you are free to wear your pentagram. With that said though, customers, are free to tell you how they feel about you wearing it. So you only have to decide if you are willing to put up with the occasional discriminating comment or look.

I would. But beware, some people might persecute you for your faith in Wicca if they know what the pentagram means.

I'm just about to get past my 90 days there & get promoted to the dept I want to me, I've had nothing bad ever said about me, just that I'm a hard worker. Any advice would be good please!

So just you newcomers out there I am not doing this for shock value I want to be able to show my faith just like anyone else.

OH, I do live in the biblebelt.
What we do, wear and how we conduct ourselves really depends on the corporate culture that we work in. It also depends on our advancement goals, and or potential. For instance, I am a Mason, and an ordained minister/bishop. I have to choose very carefully what symbols I want, should and or need to display in different settings. You have to look around your work environment to see what is not being said exceptable, but is being displayed as exceptable. I hope this helps you out.

Peace be unto you...

I think any symbol is acceptable. I'm not offended by seeing swastika's its just a symbol. People have a right to do what they want.
Also, if a christian cross is acceptable, why would a pagan pentegram not be?

depends if you work with objects it might get stuck behind, if its not a danger to you or violation of dresscode you are free to wear it anywhere you want,

ps, if people ask you to take it of for no reson tell them you will summon demons out of it to haunt him , if there so intolarable they probly won't relize you can't, you can't right?

Sorry to say, but the Pentacle could leave you open to discrimination by some Christian zealot. On the other hand, I do wear my Eye Of Horus to work sometimes, and nothing bad ever happens. I kind of chalk that up to the fact that people don't really know what it is. lol
