Just for the record, the original Wicker Man was loosely based on an actual religion, practiced by actual people, on that specific, actual island in Scotland.
The director spent a year with them, learning their ways and following them around before writing the screenplay. Lord Summerside, at the time of the original, was a real, living person, and the actual Lord of the island and head "priest" of their religion. The majority of extras in the original are actual locals from that island.

Such things come with popular ideas . I'm not saying that it is wrong to use such names , nor that people don't have the right . But it is a choice that someone made somewhere along the line . A choice that they should have realized would be misunderstood by many , I would think ??? Anyway , I was kinda teasing you about Raistlin . He was evil in the books , but kinda redemmed his self in the end . Not quite , but kinda .

Raistlin Majere , from the Dragonlance series of books . They were kinda D&D based , but made a better story then a game world in my opinion . But your avie is Raistlin , after he donned the Black Robes . He started of as a " neutral " character , wearing the Red Robes . { The world had three moons , one for each " alignment " of wizard . Only the evil wizards could see Nuitra , the black moon ** .
Raistlin was by far the most interesting character in my opinion . He became the most powerful wizard in that world , and came close to becoming a god . But what made him interesting was the way his personality blurred the difference between " good " and " evil ". He was self serving , but had his own sense of ... hmmm ? I'm not sure what it would be actually . It has been quite awhile since I read the books . But even though he was self serving , there was something that a person kinda admired about him , at times . Do a search on Dragonlance , and I'm sure that you will find info on it . Oh , and if you blow your avie up , you will likely find that he has golden , hourglass shaped eyes .... ![]() Well , he should have . But perhaps not ? A larger picture of your avie can be found about half way down the page here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raistlin_Majere

if wiccans in england decided to set up a church (for lack of a better word) there would be "damnation" from evry religion i was at court and i was made to swear on the bible and i explained i didnt feel comfortable in doing that.
people in england tend to pick on everyone for everything i was bullied severly for that if it was not for my faith i probaly would not have survived |
