What are your personal traditions for this upcoming holiday? Do you celebrate it exactly on the equinox, or on a different date?

I decorate my home for the Autumn for one. I usually have a feast, harvest meal including many of the regional harvest foods. The apple is central to my ritual, which is held just prior to the meal.
I celebrate on the equinox.

(I'm not of the Wiccan tradition, but everyone's usually really kind about me posting here, so here's me babbling!)
I like to use this time to celebrate Persephone and to meditate on letting the fields lie fallow and ensuing the harvest of that which cannot be seen with normal sight. Like the lovely Draka, I tend to incorporate the apple into my ritual. Especialy apple cider! I've got a description of last year's ritual somewhere around me. *begins rummaging through archives*

Like usual, I will try to post my writing for Mabon in another thread here if anyone would like a read. I also have a very simple pre-feast ritual that I can post as well if anyone is interested.
