Since I acknowledged my non-Christian beliefs and began searching spiritually, I've been seeing a lot of hawks. I normally would'nt find this strange, except I think it might be a sign of something. I know some gods are associated with hawks, but I haven't really read of any that make sense in this situation.
1) Every time I see a hawk, I'm the only one that sees it. Its not that the bird is invisible, it simply appears in such a way that I happen to be the only one paying attention.
2) At least three of them(including the very first one) where carrying a dead snake. The rest where carrying nothing.
3) They always appear during the day(which is normal) and are usually flying.
4) Nearly all of them where red-tailed hawks. That probably means nothing, since thats the most common hawk in my area. The rest where ospreys.
So I'm guessing one of three things. Its a sign of some diety, its a symbol of some kind, or its pure coincidence and I'm overreacting.

Sorry this is so late, but you might want to check out Horus the Younger (I think that's his name), as well as to consider that it's not a god that's trying to make itself known to you.

Actually, I have. Horus and Ra are two of my favorite gods. I haven't seen anything that specifically points to them, though. Especially since the hawk is such a common symbol.

I hadn't even thought about that at all. Bother.....I guess that opens the door to all manner of possible things. I still haven't ruled out "random coincidence", though.

Hehee, that's a natural and healthy reaction. The fact that you notice the hawks speaks to something other than a coincidence, in my mind, though. Actually, I think that we might be able to find a thread that might help you. Lemmie draw it up!
