Ahhh, silly American TV. Really, I wouldn't have expected much different from a "Reality" show. Like Buttercup said, they always pick the most outrageous families they possibly can to create the most entertaining viewing for the masses.

Sadly, the masses may end up taking it as what is "normal" for a Wiccan family, but they'll forget all about it when the next ludicrous family is presented on the show, so I don't think there's really much for you guys to worry about. The attention span and memory of the mass audience is thankfully short

i do know some down right crazy witches, but lets face it, crazy witches do make for the best witches!

I'll just ask at work tonight if anyone saw it last night. Most at work know that I am Wiccan...so it will be interesting to get other's opinions. I think they know I don't wear Munchkin shoes though

Oh I love a crazy witch, and yes they are the best ones.
Problem was she wasn't a crazy witch, she had strange idea's of what a Wiccan truely is, As Draka said strange little curly toed shoes, she kept eyes of newts in a jam jar <-- her words (sadly they were whole little lizards)
And to top all this cryed over washing out a glass, maybe she had never washed a glass before, as her poor hubby did all the housework.

I've never watched 'Wife Swap', nor am I likely to, but for those who did I have 2 questions. Do you guys think they picked this family only because they fit the negative stereotype? and How do you think viewers would react if they showed a Wicca family in a more positive light?
