It should be noted that The Landover Baptist Church site is satirical and based on the views of just some Christians. Just as there is enough confirmation in establishing stereotypes, there is enough Christian thought to make the satire believable.

I have always suspected that Wicca has malevolent roots, and now the Landover Baptist Church has scientifically confirmed it! No doubt this revelation will be repressed by the mainstream, left leaning media!

More seriously, the notion that Wicca is a santanic invention is one that I ran across recently (I can't remember where), and I felt a little bit shocked to hear it.

In some Christian circles, any religion other than Christianity is a satanic invention. Satan doesn't need you to actually be evil; he just needs you to turn away from the true God. And actually, even some forms of Christianity are considered satanic - notice that Catholicism is on this map (because their use of saints as intercessors makes them idolators ).
