Because I'm picky about this: Followers of Wicca are called Wiccans. Practicers of witchcraft are called witches. Not all Wiccans practice witchcraft. [img]images/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Yes exactly. Very well said. I strongly dislike it when Wiccan and witch are used interchangeably. I also dislike it when "witch" is capitalised but there we go .

So a Wiccan is not necessarily a Witch and a Witch not necessarily a Wiccan.

A witch is simply a term for somebody who practices a form of witchcraft. The vast majority of Wiccans are witches but this is not because the terms mean the same thing. Many Satanists are witches, for example.

- witch with a small w.
- Not all Wiccans are witches.
