Ezellohar is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Try this one

I received an error message from Geocities when I clicked on that link, but I have used http://www.sacred-texts.com/pag/gbos/ in the past when looking up info on Gerald's BoS.

Sacred-texts.com is also wonderful for many works that Wiccans and Pagans might find useful- I especially like "Aradia: The Gospel of the Witches" and The Kalevala.

Thanks for that link. I'll use it until the other site comes back up. : )

Wow...this thing is still out there....

Only one question...which of Gardner's BOS's is it? From what I understand, the man updated it several times, and none of his high priestesses received exactly the same BOS.

And once you get past Gardner, you have other problems. Each of those high priestesses, and each of the lines of the tradition established by those high priesteesses, updated their BOS as they handed it on. (Though the rule soon became "add, but don't delete.") As such, this particular BOS is at best (and given his reputation for less than honest dealings in general among the members of his Tradition, even that should be taken with grain of salt) the BOS that Aidan Kelley copied from his coven.

The idea of "The Gardnerian Book of Shadows" is a major misnomer.

The published one, I do believe, is this one.

Has it actually been published, then. I couldn't find anything on Amazon.com about it. I know that Aidan Kelley supposedly did this "tell all" where he showed the contents of what he claims in the Gardnerian BOS. But I've never heard whether it was actually put into print. Then again, maybe my search wasn't extensive enough. I didn't do an author search on Mr. Kelly's name to see what he has published after all.

But then, I've always wondered anything anway....What would a non-Gardnerian want with a copy of any Gardnerian BOS, anyway?

For reference perhaps. Or just plain old curiosity.

I am not Gardnerian, but I know I would enjoy reading through a copy of his Book of Shadows.
