However we all submit to the Universal Laws whether in willing or forced obedience. Laws ARE here to help us (i'm not implying the "161 Laws" per se) from falling into danger. Therefore it is the Universal Law that we all must urinate and deficate, whether we like it or not, to stay healthly. We all must sleep, eat, drink etc or suffer the consequences like it or not. So there are a set of Divine Laws EVERYONE submits to.
These 161 "Laws" are REALLY "guidelines" or "rules", for a true 'Law' cannot be broken. Likewise the 613 Mitzvot are often called laws, but they are Commandments or "rules" for our benefit. YHWH, The Father, Ha'Eloah, Allah, God or whatever other title you wish to call the Creator, has given us the choice to CHOOSE whether or not we want to follow these rules. If we refuse, that's our choice. The myth of punishment upon refusal is a man-made innovation painting a God of Wrath and Anger. The only LAWS we HAVE to follow are the Universal Laws mentioned earlier, everything else is only a rule.
But i've rambled onto another topic
