Thank yoooooou, Goddess! (Wicca)

I think my fellow Wiccans will appreciate this one...

I was practicing Wicca with my favorite Wiccan book and I did a general "This is what I need, can ya help me get it' spell...I asked for the Goddess to help me get more sleep, since I've been ridiculously fatigued lately.

And, you know, I'm sitting here expecting to have to relax a while, open my mind, wait for a hint of some idea or another, but all of a sudden, WHAM! as loud and clear as though She was shouting in my mind...

...the Goddess chastised me for procrastinating on my homework, told me to blow out the damn candles, do a quick devocation, and get my damn homework done so I could get to bed.



So here I am, doing my homework while I write this very quickly *glances around furtively and prepares to dodge a lightning bolt*

It's helpful to have a God/Goddess who doesn't mind giving you a slap-in-the-face answer when you need one

It IS awesome. What a cool Goddess. I'm still chuckling about it. Though I suppose I should be sleeping instead of chuckling.

Did you get the sense it was any particular Goddess? Or simply the goddess?

I remember this one time, I was having the same problem you were, not being able to sleep and all. I had a test the next day, plus I had to teach that night, and alot of work in the spirit world to do. So After I was done with my meditation, I asked if the spirits could help me fall asleep. Well, needless to say the next thing I remember is my alarm going off. I didn't even remember getting into bed and setting it.
