My last comment on my previous post was really just an attempt to avoid people like you, who just make up excuses in order to disagree with someone by twisting opinionated statements into offensive gestures, and the classic bull**** post which are fudamentally created for the perpus of increasing the number of posts.

I'm a Taurus. Am I "grounded"? I must say, I have little faith in astrology. Perhaps someone could enlighten me? Someone on another forum could guess several things about how I look, based on my sign. For instance, she said that many Taureans have deep, wise eyes, which is a remark I've gotten several times in RL.

You're right. This part of the forum isn't for debates, so lets just stick to the exploring part shall we.

As for me looking to the stars and not myself...The stars influence the self so when you look to the stars you are really looking to yourself, and somewhat vise versa. I have a good understanding of myself and my magickal capabilities, now I just need to fill in the blanks to get an understanding of 'why' I am who I am. The key to that door is in Astrology.

In your first post you stated that you don't follow astrology much. First of all, like I've been saying, if you don't have enough knowledge of Astrology then how can you provide helpful information in the discussion of the issue? It's rather obvious that you don't because you said that you know some people who don't fit their sign exactly. If you did you would know that Astrology is NOT limited to their Sun Sign. If you don't understand that then I rest my case.

Prima, I think I know what set you off. My reply to you on the first page (my second post) was not intended to point specifically at you. I apologize for not making that clear and not noticing it sooner. You probably read it like I was talking directly to you, and I can see how that might be offensive. It was mainly to just get rid of the lamers who try to talk about a subject they know nothing about.

Go to an Astrology website and get a Free Personal Astrology Chart to get a better view of your astrological standings.

Just because your Sun Sign is simply Taurus, being an earth sign, I wouldn't assume that you would be "grounded". You may in fact be grounded if you were an earth sign in all aspects, but I'm not sure if that is even possible. These include, and may not be limited to, your Rising Sign, Sun Sign, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Node. It gets really complicated, but the more you know the more it will help understand yourself. I would advise for everyone to get their Astrology Chart, it will provide great insight.

My Rising sign is Virgo, Sun Sign is Taurus, and Moon Sign is also Taurus. All three of those are associated with the Earth element. Also my Jupiter and Neptune are associated with Earth. I have 5 Earth signs, 3 Fire, 3 Water, and 1 Air. I think that a distinctive amount of one element within someone would have a obvious effect on one's celestial power, being helpful or not helpful, and I have my myself as evidence. I need others to expand my theory farther.

I believe that celestial, spiritual, and psychic powers, are mainly associated with Water, and Fire signs. Earth is mainly associated with the physical realm and terrestrial aspects. I have reason to believe this. I've been a firm practitioner of witchcraft for a long time, every since I was very young, and I've been associated with others who are into the arts also. My occult abilities on a magickal level, in my opinion, are not as advanced as they should be. I have compared myself to some others in many different ways and could find no reason why they were obtaining power faster than I was. An elder of a coven told me that he couldn't see why either because I was tested and favored among them. I'm not saying that I don't have any power at all, I'm just saying that I think that I'm not as powerful as I should be, and I think my astrological status has a lot to do with it. I have a few friends who have been in the game about as long as I have, and some seem to get faster results and more 'spiritual action' than I do, when in reality, I am more timely dedicated than they are. Among them is one who rarely does anything magickal, and who seems to just be a natural occultist. It's aggravating! Also he happens to be associated with 4 water signs, 4 fire signs, 2 air, and 2 earth. I can do almost everything he can do, but just not with the same amount of energy it seems. Like my results will take a few days longer than his, and the effect of the spell won't be quite as bold as his is. *growl*

I understand what you are saying. I will go to such a site to explore, before I make my conclusion. Can you reccomend any? Do you believe that forcasts can be made based on a person's sign?

Fair enough . I started my own chart , way back some ... 25 years ago , but never finished it . I do find the concept interesting . Best of luck on your quest .
