My review of "Beyond Belief" by Elaine Pagals
Maize and a few others had asked me to let them know when I had competed the section of my journal on "Beyond Belief: The Secret Gospel of Thomas" by Dr. Elaine Pagels.
I finished the book two weeks ago, but have only now been able to complete my comments on it. You can find those comments in my journal at http://dynamicdeism.org/tpst/viewtopic.php?t=62 I highly recommend the book... but if you are of one of the more mainline christian denominations, please be prepared for some of your ideas about the early church to be challenged. And Dr. Pagels is one who can challenge them.
