Dancing with the Stars line-up
The new line-up for this years Dancing with the Stars is out and it brings some questions with it.
Lance Bass - N-Sync Brooke Burke - model Rocco DiSpirito - chef Toni Braxton - singer Maurice Green - Olympic athlete (runner) Cody Linley - actor Misty May-Treanor - Olympic athlete (beach volleyball) Jeffery Ross - comedian/roastmaster Warren Sapp - retired football player Ted McGinley - actor and the surprises... Susan Lucci - Daytime TV Icon Cloris Leachman - actress (at 82 the oldest contestant ever on show) and...Kim Kardashian - .....slut? ( I mean really...her? a star? for what? sex tapes?)

Draka! It's so good to see you! I do think it's an interesting line-up. I don't watch the show, but I am almost tempted to with some of those contestants. As for Kim Kardashian, she does have a TV show. The term "star" (or in some cases "celebrity") is used extremely loosely when it comes to shows like this these days. This is a step up from most of the VH1 shows, but still their qualifications for stars are set very low. Kardashian actually fits the term better than many others I've seen on similar shows.

and they got that reality show from the buzz over her sex tapes...that's pretty much what it was.
I'm interested in how Cloris will do though. Her and La Lucci

So You Think You Can Dance has people who dedicate their lives to dancing and goes through the gamut of dancing styles and is amazing to watch. Dancing with the Stars, though, takes celebrities with little to no dance background and throws them on the floor to perform with professionals. Completely different premise and still interesting to watch though. Some people take it up remarkably well and others just flop.

I don't know. I personally think a few of the ones that may come out well are Toni Braxton, Susan Lucci, and Lance Bass. Though I don't know how well very petite delicate Lucci is going to pull off some of the latin dances like the Samba and the sultry Rumba. I still say it will be very interesting to see how Cloris does. She's 82, but quite spunky...so who knows?

I agree that it will be very interesting to see how Cloris does. She is great. Did you happen to catch her on the Roast of Bob Saget? She was phenomenal!
