Is it ironic when religious people get upset over homosexuality because they think its unnatural? (moral, abomination)

(of course, im only addressing the argument that being gay is somehow unnatural. that seems to be the main crutch of many people arguments against it.)

i disagree.
That it is un-natural is the reasoning they impplied in order to justify why God/bible says it is wrong.

The fact is that God nor the Bible ever state WHY it is bad, just that it is an abomination.

Another problem that we run into is what is an abomination?
From Websters 1828 Dictionary:

Abomination
ABOMINA'TION, n.

1. Extreme hatred; detestation.

2. The object of detestation, a common signification in scripture.

The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord. Prov 15.

Now i am fairly sure that someone is not going to like to definition I presented, so they will need present their own opinion as to what the word abomination means.
Hence demonstrating the biggest problem with religion.

i don't feel upset about gay people. they are rebels to their own bodies and they do no harm to others. what's there to be upset about?
