Is it ironic when religious people get upset over homosexuality because they think its unnatural? (moral, abomination)

If you really believe that God actively controls all things; that nothing happens without His approval, then yes, they are attempting to undo His work.

I see a difference in attempting to repair a disabling physical defect and an aesthetic, though. A clubfoot disables through the unchangeable laws of physics.The "disabilities" associated with homosexuality are entirely a consequence of the attitudes of others. Homosexuality is best "treated" by changing society's reaction to it.

Erm - homosexuality is un-natural scientifically

The science is that - everything is here to pass on its genes it specifies that the meaning of life is to procreate and to keep life going.

Homosexuality is against procreation and there for is un natural as this is against nature.

However God is said to have created nature therefore incontrol of nature therefore he is not un natural.

This might answer the question whether people are born gay.

You all are hopefully familiar with chromosones. You get X and Y chromosones.

It is a 'fact' that some chromosones are stronger or weaker than others.

Lets say your dad has strong chromosones and your mom has strong cromosones as well, when you pop out you are considered to be 'normal'. (whats normal? Another thread another time).

If your dad has strong chromosones and your mom has week chromosones, and you pop out a girl, you tend to have masculine behaviour.

If your dad has strong chromosones and your mom has week chromosones, and you pop out a boy, you are something in the order of conan the barbarian. (LOL, I mean very MANLY...you probably did not play with dolls when you were a kid)

If your dad has weak chromosones and your mom has strong chromosones, and you pop out a girl, you are a feminist...no just kidding, you have very strong female characteristics.

If your dad has weak chromosones and your mom has strong chromosones and you pop out a boy....you are gay.

Very often men with very domineering mothers are gay. Ever notice?

I have listed the extremes here, but there is a scale of gay- ness.

Now, what about sexual desire? Since a person is presumably born male with very female characteristics, does that mean that they will naturally be attracted to men?

I think because women have tradisionally wanted conan the barbarian, men with female characteristics dont feel they have what women want. Perhaps I should rater say women tradisionally want the prince on the white horse....mel gibson in braveheart type of guy.

Since a great deal of women dont find men with female characteristics to be fitting into their 'what I want in a man' frame of reference, these men have turned to other men, to find intimacy and acceptance.

Men with female characteristics, can find a women with male characteristics. And the two can live happily ever after and procreate.

So, sexual intimacy between two men, or two women, is still I believe, is not natural for the human species.

Perhaps what should be understood from a Christian perspective is that your body is the temple of God. Any harm you do to your body, purposly is wrong and therefor sin. God hates sin. Sure the homosexual act only effects those involved, not true. I work with a woman who used to be a nurse and she explained that the male act( anal intercourse) was a precurser to anal hernia. Many a homosexual came into the ER with their inards trying to come out. This affected all those involved in trying to help this person.

You see when God creates something good, man perverts it and this is of course sin. I personally do not hate the homosexual people but I do detest their immoral acts just as I do the acts of all who sin willfully.
